Jana Kurilova, Registered Psychologist

About Jana

I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and hold a Master's of Science degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary. I have a particular interest in adolescent and young adult mental health, but work with individuals of all ages experiencing various difficulties that may be negatively impacting their well-being and quality of life. These include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, ADHD, work or school difficulties, and life transitions.

While I have training and experience with various therapeutic modalities, my work is guided primarily by a person-centered perspective and I adapt my approach according to each individual's unique needs. I have a deep appreciation for the complexity of the human experience, and strive to provide individualized support and help people gain insight as they navigate life’s challenges.

I recognize the importance of finding a psychologist who is a good fit, as a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to positive therapy outcomes. Therefore, I offer a free 20-minute consultation to help you determine if working with me would be a good fit and answer any questions you may have.
